Kind Earth.Tech is a non-profit organization looking to create change through innovation within the vegan industry. Kind Earth.Tech is largescale community of people and companies within the vegan space.
I helped them with creating their image and online presence.
The people at KET had quite the idea about how they wanted their logo and website to look, it was mainly that they didn’t have someone that could implement or digitalise all of it. First we started off with their logo’s. One for general use, and another that is mainly used within the context of their events.
They mostly already had an idea about how they wanted their logo’s to look. They wanted a text based logo. The idea was to keep it simple, but strong and outspoken, which is something that I needed to achieve through the font. These were the endresult:
When it comes to their website, they did have a general style in mind, but had no real examples they could give me. So after taking the time and hearing out their ideas I simply started with some sketches to see if I got the general idea. They didn’t want anything too out there, just a simple overview and not too many unnecessary effects. It just needed a clean, futureproof look that mainly used their own images to add interest to the pages.
After getting the sketches approved I went on to creating the website.
Because of the idea of using their own images as focal point, we had decided on using a big image as the forefront of the website, where we could specifically focus the attention to the middle of the page where the goals of the company would be displayed.
And then there were the KET food maps. with this, I helped collect all the different data they had into the different maps you see below:
Lastly, I assisted KET at their 2022 event at NEMO Amsterdam. For this event I compiled all the presentations of the different speakers. At the event itself I worked as a technical assistant, working the presentations and fixing any issues with them if they arose.
What I’m most proud of within this project is that I managed to translate the clients ideas for the website without much issue. Creating a website fitting of the image that they had for it.
