B2B organises many different events, with one such event being Fourplay. For their first ever Fourplay edition they askes me to create visuals for them.

This first edition was to take place in the Supperclub in Amsterdam and its theme was ‘Games’.

This is a highlight video of the event. Not in the best quality, but it was the best I could get.

How did I go about it?

First off I sat down with the organiser of Fourplay to discuss the theme. With him I held a concepting workshop to figure out what games we would represent within the visuals for the event.

After having decided on that, the next step was to accommodate for the beamer setup at the Supperclub. At the Supperclub they have a specially designed beamer setup that plays around with the shape of the room itself. But, since they told me that they didn’t have the option of giving me an export of mapping, I had to create one myself.

With the following masks I marked down the specifics of the mapping and noted down all the different locations and masking areas of the beamer mapping setup.

With that in place I started creating the visuals for the different games. Because of the way everything set up at the Supperclub I had the ability of creating some fun immersive visuals that used the rounded shape of the room to their advantage.

But not only did I create the visuals showcasing the different games. I also made the introduction video of the event that was played within the club itself and designed the calling cards for the different artists.
